TRipple Portal Manual¶
Welcome to the user manual for the TRipple trial portal: the tool researchers and principal investigators use to design, launch, and run tinnitus listening trials, and to manage the participants taking part.
This manual explains what each part of the portal does and how to use it. It is written for researchers and PIs; you do not need any programming knowledge to follow it.
New here?
Start with Getting started for the big picture, then Core concepts for the handful of terms the rest of the manual relies on. When you are ready to build a trial, work through Building a trial: the setup wizard step by step.
What you can do with the portal¶
Design a trial: arms, phases, randomisation, questionnaires, and the audio participants listen to, through an eight-step setup wizard.
Set recruitment targets: how many participants each arm needs and how the portal decides when to pause or stop recruiting.
Launch and monitor: track enrolment, watch participants move through the trial, and adjust targets while it runs.
Manage access: share a trial with colleagues and hand over ownership.
